If you don’t really like sewing at all, please do yourself a favour and don’t get into fashion design. Fashion design is all about making garments on a sewing machine so they can be sold to buyers; fashion design has nothing to do with drawing, painting, weaving, dyeing or writing a thesis. Furthermore, fashion design has nothing to do with your fashion degree or diploma either; at the end of day, your client or buyer is solely interested in buying your garment and nothing else. They are NOT even interested in your drawing skills. They ONLY want to see your actual finished garment to sell or to wear, period. So, if you want to get into real fashion design and be successful, you need to learn how to sew real garments at VSC, instead of wasting time making aprons, tote bags, facial masks, pajamas, backpacks, oven mitts, table skirts, and so on.
