Program Title: Beginner Professional Detailed Fashion Illustration Short Program
Level Rating Category: Beginner OR Intermediate
Program Description: This detailed fashion illustration program will focus on basic poses, proportions, textures, folds, shadows, colour blending, and the details of heads, different hair styles, facial features, hands, feet and accessories. The client will be able to use coloured pencils, watercolours, brushes, markers, white gel pens, white paint inks and mixed media. The client will also learn how to mix colours, draw folds, drapery and wrinkles, add shadows, highlights and pattern/motif details. The client will complete up to two professional colour fashion illustration sketches that can be used in their own portfolio. VSC will provide many coloured art pencils, Micron pens, Copic or Prismacolor markers, and Faber-Castell coloured pencils for our client to use during instructional time in the classroom. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

Program Title: Advanced Professional Detailed Fashion Illustration Short Program

Program Title: The Mini Fashion Illustration Sketch Program

Program Description: This program will focus on basic drawing techniques such as drawing straight lines, curve lines and geometric shapes. The client will learn how to use all the menu tools’ functionality for all their drawing needs as well as learning how to utilize all the different tools to create elaborate drawings and sketches. In addition, the client will learn the rule of proportion and how to draw two different poses. VSC will provide many coloured art pencils, Micron pens, Copic or Prismacolor markers and Faber-Castell coloured pencils for use during instructional time in the class. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

Program Title: Intermediate Fashion Illustration Sketches Short Program

Program Description: In this program, the client will learn different drawing and sketching techniques to illustrate different parts of the body in fashion illustration such as the head, eyes, nose, lip, ear, face, hair, bust, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Clients will learn how to sketch and draw different angles and poses of the hip, shoulder, hands, arm and shoes. In addition, the client will have the opportunity to learn how to draw and exaggerate the body poses without losing proportion and structure. VSC will provide many coloured art pencils, Micron pens, Copic or Prismacolor markers and Faber-Castell coloured pencils for use during instructional time in class. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

Program Description: This program was created for the client who likes to challenge her/his drawing skills by learning more advanced techniques to create different fashion poses. Clients will learn to design and draw various different types of men’s and women’s clothing (swim and surf, trousers and jeans, shirts, blouses and tops, skirts and dresses, sports and active wear, streetwear, chic separates, fall layers, evening wear, lingerie and costumes). Clients will have the opportunity to finish two professional fashion illustration sketches that can be used in their own portfolios. VSC will provide many coloured art pencils, Micron pens, Copic or Prismacolor markers and Faber-Castell coloured pencils for our clients to use during instructional time in the class. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

Program Title: The Complete Fashion Illustration Sketches Long Program

Program Description: The client will have a unique opportunity to learn the entire fashion illustration sketches techniques from A-Z. This is a complete fashion illustration sketches program for the client who wants to learn professional techniques and art media used in the fashion industry. The client will also learn some techniques not shown in any textbooks or taught in any institution, and all the tricks and secrets used by professionals to make the perfect fashion illustration drawing. This program is designed to help clients learn all about the different hand tools choices in drawing and rendering, as well as what they do for your creative process. The client will learn to use the rule of proportion and how to draw different poses (man and woman), how to draw technical flats of different garment styles, and understand how to draw the many different body parts such as head, eye, nose, lip, ear, face, hair, body, hip, and leg in preparation for creating fashion poses. In addition, the client will learn how to develop different fashion poses, design and draw various garment types for men’s and women’s clothing items such as swim and surf, trousers and jeans, shirts, blouses and tops, skirts and dresses, sports and activewear, streetwear, chic separates, fall layers, evening wear, lingerie and costumes. The client will learn how to create shadow and light on their sketches. She/he will learn how to mix colors, draw folds, enhance the drapery and wrinkles effect, add shadow, highlight and patterns/motifs details. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

The client will have the opportunity to learn how to use and draw using the digital PenTech 3.0 to do fashion illustration digitally. The client will learn to draw different body parts and poses. She/he will learn to draw the head, eye, nose, lip, ear, face, hair, body, hip and leg as well as body and hand poses. In addition, the client will learn how to exaggerate body proportions, movement and poses using Adobe Photoshop. Textbooks will be provided in this program.

Plenty of textbooks will be provided in this long program to help you master the art of drawing using the PenTech3.0 and Adobe Illustrator. The client will learn to draw exaggerated body movements and poses.
